Requirements for Appointment


An earned PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent Degree qualification in the relevant area from an accredited and recognized university.
Be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) and with a valid practicing License.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.


OR


Have a Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent Degree qualification in the relevant area from a recognized/accredited University with at least three (3) years research/teaching/industry experience.
Have a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
Be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) and with a valid practicing License.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
