The role of the Chairperson is to:

Chair meetings of the Supervisory Board, ensuring that all matters addressed at Supervisory Board meetings are discussed in an orderly, fair, open and inclusive manner
Ensure the integrity of the Supervisory Board’s processes and deliberations in a manner that ensures that the Supervisory Board delegates operational decisions to the executives while retaining its policy making role
Prepare the Supervisory Board meeting agenda in cooperation with the CEO and the company secretary while ensuring a balance between operating decisions, performance reporting and more forward-looking strategic issues
Annual performance reviews of the CEO

Between Supervisory Board meetings the Chairperson maintains an informal link between the Supervisory Board and the CEO, expects to be kept informed by the CEO on all important matters, and is available to the CEO to provide counsel and advice where appropriate. 
About you
For our Supervisory Board we are looking for an eager and open candidate that is able to advise and guide the management of the Company. Our ideal candidate will have these qualifications:

Strong diplomatic, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Experience as a non-executive director. Experience as a Chairperson is considered a plus
Demonstrable understanding of technology business or tech-driven businesses
Availability to allocate sufficient time to fulfil the duties of Chairperson and Supervisory Board member
Demonstrable knowledge of emerging markets
