As Backend Developer at Musoni, you’ll be responsible for the server side code and APIs of our core banking platform. 
You’ll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features. 
Your work will impact the stability and quality of our entire product offering. You’ll write reusable and... maintainable code. You’ll also write and perform tests to optimize performance. You’ll work closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience. Ultimately, you’ll be the driving force behind all back-end activities.
You will join our multi-discplinairy development team and actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning and reviews.

About you
For this role we are looking for an eager and independent person with a drive and mentality to get things done.

You have at least 2 years experience in Java 
You have a good understanding of REST API’s and principles
You have a good understanding of the entire product development process.
You are capable of making use of standard libraries and APIs.
You have experience in using version control (git) and CI/CD
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Basic knowledge of database systems such as MySQL
You have technical and consumer awareness.
You can troubleshoot problems in the team and for users.
You’re analytical and good at time management.
You have great problem-solving skills and you work well in a team.
You’re curious about new technologies and you’re excited to find ways to implement them in your work.
You are able to deliver quality features without much supervision all while keeping your team in the loop.

The role of the Chairperson is to:

Chair meetings of the Supervisory Board, ensuring that all matters addressed at Supervisory Board meetings are discussed in an orderly, fair, open and inclusive manner
Ensure the integrity of the Supervisory Board’s processes and deliberations in a manner that ensures that the Supervisory Board delegates operational decisions to the executives while retaining... its policy making role
Prepare the Supervisory Board meeting agenda in cooperation with the CEO and the company secretary while ensuring a balance between operating decisions, performance reporting and more forward-looking strategic issues
Annual performance reviews of the CEO

Between Supervisory Board meetings the Chairperson maintains an informal link between the Supervisory Board and the CEO, expects to be kept informed by the CEO on all important matters, and is available to the CEO to provide counsel and advice where appropriate. 
About you
For our Supervisory Board we are looking for an eager and open candidate that is able to advise and guide the management of the Company. Our ideal candidate will have these qualifications:

Strong diplomatic, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Experience as a non-executive director. Experience as a Chairperson is considered a plus
Demonstrable understanding of technology business or tech-driven businesses
Availability to allocate sufficient time to fulfil the duties of Chairperson and Supervisory Board member
Demonstrable knowledge of emerging markets more

About the job
The job holder will join our Customer Support team which is the day to day point of contact for any of our worldwide customers. His/her daily tasks range from digging into customer problems and monitoring our infrastructure. The successful candidate will be expected to:

Quickly and correctly assess customer requests (in line with SLA’s) and prioritize accordingly
Analyze... customer requests and summarize them in a clear and concise way for different audiences (internal and external)
Proactively engage with other teams to manage customer needs and expectations

You have at least 3 years of work experience in System Engineer, Data Analyst or Level 2/3 support roles

You have experience in basic administration of Linux machines
