The ideal candidate must be a diligent professional with a strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in every aspect of the job. They should also have a deep understanding of the import/export processes specific to Kenya and East Africa.

Key Responsibilities:


Handle all import and export activities in and out of Kenya, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and smooth logistics operations.
Calculate and prepare landed cost estimates before importing any goods, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality.
Monitor stock levels consistently and plan ahead to ensure timely procurement of materials, preventing stockouts and delays in operations.
Work closely with the storekeepers to track and manage a wide range of inventory items (both small and large) across various categories.
Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, compare prices, and source products to meet operational needs.
Prepare and file purchase orders accordingly, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Input and update data into the ERP system to keep records accurate and up-to-date.


Key Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in a related field
Proven experience in import/export management
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping processes, and logistics.
Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and track landed costs.
Experience in stock monitoring, planning, and inventory management.
Familiarity with ERP systems for data entry and order managemen
