Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -


Perform routine clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
Receive and direct visitors and telephone calls to the appropriate offices.
Type and format documents, letters, minutes, and reports as instructed.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
Maintain and update departmental records and document
Support the coordination of meetings, including booking venues and preparing materials.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure timely requisitions.
Assist in the preparation and circulation of internal communication.
Provide logistical support during departmental events and functions.
Maintain confidentiality and security of office information and records.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.


For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -


At least four (4) years relevant work experience;
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public/Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Political Science Psychology, Sociology or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer application skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, email and video conferencing tools, internet research, basic data management, and awareness of cybersecurity practices; data protection laws; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Knowledge of data protection laws will be an added advantage.
