Administer compensation, benefits, performance management systems, safety, and recreation programs 
Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitive programs and legal compliance 
Identify staffing vacancies, recruit, interview, and select applicants 
Handle staffing challenges, including understaffing, disputes, firing, and disciplinary procedures 
Conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives 
Plan and supervise staff related to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations 
Coordinate personnel, training, and labor relations activities 
Represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations 
Serve as a link between management and employees, handling questions, interpreting contracts, and resolving workrelated problems
