Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate would be joining a dynamic engineering and systems integrator firm with a focus on providing integrated renewable energy solutions.
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper reporting of the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of the business's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
Assist in the preparation and analyses of financial statements & budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making by management.
Assist in managing daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
Assist in coordinating & reviewing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Assist with the computation of PAYE, VAT taxes and render returns. prepare monthly payroll.
Assist with any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
6 months to 1 year experience as an Accountant.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Knowledge in using accounting software or MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
