I accepted a job through a friend's recommendation and now I hate it. If I leave after only a few months, I feel like I'll embarrass the person who referred me.

  • Your mental is more important than that job. If you fear letting your friend down, open up to them about your valid pain points, that may help refine... perspective or they’ll understand and okay your exit even if it means affecting their reputation based on the recommendation. Good luck. more

  • Sorry find a genuine excuse to quit it. but remember to secure a job in Nigeria is not easy.

  • You haven't disclosed why you now hate the job you looked for barely few months after. This would have enabled informed advice. However, your... well-being and mental health are more important than how your friend would feel if you quit. Most importantly, ensure you discuss with your friend and part peacefully with your employers.

Goodluck and make sure you take the right decision.
