Role Summary:
As a Medical Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care by performing administrative and clinical tasks.
Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Take patient medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for medical procedures and examinations.
Perform basic clinical procedures, such as collecting and processing specimens, administering medications, and dressing wounds, under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment, instruments, and supplies for patient care.
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and provide administrative support, such as filing, billing, and data entry, as needed.
Educate patients about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures, and provide referrals as directed by healthcare providers.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in Medical Assisting or a related field from a recognized institution.
Previous experience working as a medical assistant or in a healthcare support role preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
