About the role

Ampersand seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Data and Monitoring Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data related to batteries, electric motorcycles (eMotos), and IoT platforms to provide actionable insights. This role involves monitoring technical parameters, generating reports, and supporting the Operations (OPS) team in customer interactions and battery recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities


Monitor the state of all batteries and advise accordingly
Use battery telemetry data to conduct root cause analysis
Support operational teams to validate battery related issues
Support battery recovery efforts by providing required information
Prepare battery monitoring reports as required.
Support battery inspections in charging stations

Minimum requirements


A diploma in a relevant field such as Electronics, Computer Science,renewable energy, mechatronics engineering,automotive engineering- data analysis skills are an added advantage
Strong analytical, presentation, communication & organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Understanding of lithium batteries
Proficiency in use of Excel or R or/and python language in data analysis
Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and actionable reports.
Knowledge or interest in electric vehicles and battery technologies is a plus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside the box.
Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
