Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Schneider Electric's microgrid systems.
Solution Development: Develop and implement cost-effective solutions that optimize customer systems and cater to their specific needs across Africa.
Technical Proposals: Prepare and present technical proposals and system architectures tailored to customer requirements.
Business Development: Contribute to sales efforts by promoting and designing microgrid systems that deliver value to customers throughout Africa.
Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs, position Schneider Electric's offerings within the market, and build strong relationships.
Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and project execution support, including training on Schneider Electric's microgrid portfolio.
Problem Resolution: Address post-sale issues promptly and effectively.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in energy distribution, control/automation (SCADA), software applications, communication, switchgear, protection design engineering, or system architecture.
3+ years of experience interacting with customers in various technical environments and leading technical conversations.
Expertise in energy management across different segments.
In-depth knowledge of microgrid systems, including battery energy storage, electrical distribution, and control systems.
Strong connections within the power and grid (electrical utilities) industry in Africa.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent command of English.

Preferred:

Experience with renewable energy resources and their integration.
Telecommunication experience.
