Job Description

Our client is in need of a truck spare parts salesman who will be responsible for selling replacement parts for trucks to customers, including fleet managers, mechanics, and trucking companies.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

Meet with customers to identify their spare parts needs and recommend appropriate products
Maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, and availability
Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities
Collaborate with other sales team members and support staff to achieve sales goals
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
Costing of parts and invoicesQualifications:
Experience in the trucking industry and knowledge of truck spare parts
Strong sales and customer service skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to do costings of parts and invoices
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to customer's location as needed.
A diploma or degree in sales, marketing or business administration is an added advantage
