Responsibilities:


Leading and delivering audit engagements.
Coordinate audit planning activities including defining priorities, scope areas, budgets, resource allocation and interactions with stakeholders.
Prepare detailed audit work programmes considering relevant internal standards and accepted industry practices.
Identify control gaps, determine root causes, and support the business in developing appropriate mitigating actions plans.
Prepare audit reports and communicate results with relevant management.
Monitoring and review of finding and management action closure.
Undertake ad-hoc special reviews as required.
Build key stakeholder relationships and develop a comprehensive understanding of the business.
Understand current and emerging risks and use this knowledge to provide relevant insights.


The ideal candidate:

Qualification:


University degree in areas of study such as (not limited to) Business, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, HSEC/ESG, Engineering, or equivalent.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CA, CPA or CISA (Advantageous)


Experience:


Has at least 5 years of working experience in internal or external audit in an international environment, preferably in the mining or similar.
Is operationally excellent with a hands-on approach, producing high-quality work while meeting deadlines.
Familiar with the mining/extractives industry and key risks.
Has excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Russian would be advantageous but not required.
Is flexible to work in a global team across various time zones.
