Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

MBChB/MBBCh or equivalent Degree.
Registration with HPCSA as a medical practitioner in Independent Practice.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Medical Officer in a health facility.
Sound knowledge of Medical Ethics.
Sound clinical knowledge with regards to the practice of medicine as a general practitioner.
A Certificate qualification in any of the following , BLS, ACLS, APLS or ATLS will be an added advantage.

Support the aims and objectives of CHG with regards to standard of patient care.
Management of patients admitted in wards including ICU and assisting surgeons in theatre and doing calls in Emergency Unit/ Casualty.
Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of medical services.
Ability to deal with all medical emergencies.
Assist with Clinical audits.
Participate in continuous professional development.
Develop and maintain effective communication with specialists in the hospital.
