Are you passionate about the built environment, research and advocacy? If yes, then we're looking for you! The KPDA is looking for an individual to support our team with various tasks. The Intern is an essential member of the KPDA secretariat dedicated to support research and policy work.
Our ideal candidate should be an individual willing to learn, capable of working in a team as well as autonomously. He/she should have (demonstrable) excellent communication skills, be well-organized, confident, and knowledgeable in a statistical package. If this describes you, we would like to meet you.


YOUR KEY DELIVERABLES


The successful candidate's duties shall be to:
Provide support to research and development carried out that is of interest to KPDA members;
Filing, record keeping and general organization of documents;
Where necessary, assist in the preparation for the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee and its Working Group meetings;
Where necessary, provide support the organization and running of research-based activities;
Where necessary, assist in the preparation for meetings with affiliate/partner organizations;
Any other duty as advised by the assigned supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


Degree in Quantity Survey, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Public Administration and Policy, Statistics, Economics and any other related qualifications. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Understanding of property development, real estate and the construction industry in general
Good understanding of county and national governments in the context of political, social and economic factors
Ability to work independently and as part of small team
