YOUR KEY DELIVERABLES


The successful candidate's duties shall be to:
Provide support to research and development carried out that is of interest to KPDA members;
Filing, record keeping and general organization of documents;
Where necessary, assist in the preparation for the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee and its Working Group meetings;
Where necessary, provide support the organization and running of research-based activities;
Where necessary, assist in the preparation for meetings with affiliate/partner organizations;
Any other duty as advised by the assigned supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


Degree in Quantity Survey, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Public Administration and Policy, Statistics, Economics and any other related qualifications. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Understanding of property development, real estate and the construction industry in general
Good understanding of county and national governments in the context of political, social and economic factors

The Finance and Administrative Intern is an essential member of the KPDA secretariat dedicated to ensuring the finance and administrative systems of the office are running smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will work very closely with the Finance and Administrative Officer in providing direct Finance and Administrative support to KPDA members and stakeholders.

YOUR KEY... DELIVERABLES


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assist with day-to-day operations, including data entry and record keeping:
Supporting the Finance and Administrative Officer in administrative duties;
Assisting the Finance and Adninistrative Officer in efficient running of the Institutional Strengthening Committee;
Assisting with the daily efficient operation of the secretariat including assisting with event organization, daily communication with members and the production of invoices and reports as required;
Supporting the Finance and Administrative Officer in the preparation of statutory deductions and VAT Processing ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Supporting in bank and MPESA accounts reconciliations and preparation of Management Accounts summary.
Performing such other duties as may be assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Finance and Accounting Options) and any other related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA and ACCA is an added advantage
