Requirements for appointment.


An earned PhD in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications/Electronics) or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant area from recognized and accredited university.
Been registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya and have a valid membership certificate.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.


OR


A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications/ Electronics or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant area from an accredited and recognized University with at least three (3) years in research/teaching/industry experience.
A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
Be registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya and have a valid membership certificate.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
