Key responsibilities:


Receiving and issuing of goods and checking of quantities, quality, and delivery conditions and temperatures of food and beverages products, recording of all details according to stock and food hygiene standards;
Labelling and dating of food and beverage stock, stock rotation and record keeping;
Assist with data capturing in relation to receiving of stock, stock taking and issuing;
Maintaining cleanliness, neatness, and hygiene of stores;
Stand in for Storeman in their absence;
Stock-taking and reporting; and
Examining prices from different vendor.


Qualifications, skills and experience:


Matric with a food safety and hygiene certificate with three years’ experience in stores, purchasing and receiving in a similar environment.
A certificate in purchasing with extensive training in food safety and hygiene will be advantageous.
