Listen to S. Milburn if your jobs have designated time frame their hours can not overlap. It is illegal. I know of a case were a guy was working... for the water company and was seeing clients on the side. He submitted timesheets for the freelance / second job for hours when he was suppose to be on the clock for the water company. They found out he lost that job with its health benefits and pension that he had for over 10 years. So, know what your contracts allow. more

What does your remote work agreement state? Having multiple jobs is not a crime. However, beng paid by both employers for the same hours may be. For... ex., if job 1 pays you from 9-5, then job 2 should cover a different set of hours or timeframe. If not separate, job 1 is basically paying you to perform job 2 duties. If your remote work has no set hours, you are good. However, the fact that you asked, leads me to believe your actual work hours overlap.
