Where I work people have a strange habit of naming their food. I had a very nice Chicken sandwich called 'Brian' the other day .

Open up to him and be like....boss things are not okay, and when he asks why ,tell him everything and see what happens.

Strike a conversation with him about it. Inform him about it in a diplomatic manners, especially later in the day just before leaving work for home.... This might present an opportunity to bring up that topic of salary raise. Dont miss that opportunity. Grab it more

Don’t put your food in the frig. Bring a lunch container with a cool pack thing inside to keep your food cold. Keep your lunch in a desk drawer.... Unless you actually saw someone take your food from the frig, it’s only an assumption as to who took it.  more

Buy a lunch bag that has double zippers on both sides and buy a little lock that can fit through the zipper hole and lock it, if you dont want to... confront him/or her, and I promise you it will stop unless that person is bold enough to make the lunch bag go missing or you could be just mean and have alot of fun at the same time place laxatives in something that you know your not going to eat and it will really stop.  more

It's a shame we can't just plainly speak to a person these days. You should be able to call someone out on their bull crap. I was taught from... childhood if you didn't put it in the fridge then don't take it out of the fridge! My advice says poison the bastard with laxatives or an Ipecac! Why? because he is an adult male that should know better, Especially in a professional setting. What happened to integrity? And decency respect and consideration for others?
