Job Summary

Core Job Responsibilities
• Serve as a Technical Advisor to the Management Credit Committee • Provide ongoing credit management training to staff • Manage relations with credit reporting agencies and credit insurance providers • Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management • Collect, register, keep safe custody of monitor and submit regulatory reports on all collaterals • Lead the processing of application, approval and disbursement of all loans, overdrafts and other advances according to board approved limits and processes • Lead loans and advances recovery activities • Preparation and submission of prudential or statutory reports • Present periodic portfolio reports to management and board • Manage and supervise the marketing officer to deliver marketing activities and brand visbility
Qualification Required & Experience
• First Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Banking, Economics or other related fields • A Master's Degree, Full or part professional qualification in Banking or other related fields (e.g. ACIB, CICM, CIMG, etc) will be an added advantage • 5 years of experience in credit appraisal, monitoring and recovery preferably at senior management level • Good analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills • High level of professionalism and personal integrity • Proficiency in Ms Excel , Ms Word and Ms Powerpoint • Good working knowledge in T24 Banking application

Core Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate, supervise, monitor and control all branches and self-service channels (e.g ATMs, Mobile, Apps, Internet, etc) to deliver value propositions for the various customer segments • Responsible for ensuring that central processing operations are carried out in line with regulatory requirements and standard practices and in pursuit of the bank's business objectives • Review and/or develop in consultation with management standard operating policies and procedures • Preparation of reconciliation statements for all internal and suspense accounts • Investment and resolve any anomalies or outstanding items on internal and suspense accounts reconciliation statements • Supervise and monitor treasury management functions including cash evacuations
Qualification Required & Experience

Core Job Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the development of the bank's strategy and develop and manage the resulting strategic initiatives in line with bank's vision • Initiate, co-ordinate and consolidate the preparation of the bank's budgets reviews and targets • Monitor the rollout and implementation of departmental strategic plans assessing against targets and report on progress as and when required • Primary responsibility for implementing and maintaining internal financial controls assuring the completeness and accuracy of information contained in the bank's financial systems • Responsible for preparation of reconciliation statements for the bank's accounts with ARB Apex Bank Plc and other accounts held by the Bank • Manage and control the monthly management reporting process including explanation of variances and trends to management and board in a timely manner • Manage and supervise the preparation and submission of the bank's statutory reports and returns to ARB Apex Bank, BOG, GRA, SSNIT and other relevant regulatory bodies in a timely manner • Payment of employee emoluments and other approved expenses as advised by the HR department • Manage the liquidity of the bank in consultation with the Operations and Credit Department
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, a Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (ICAG, ACCA, etc) is highly preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role overseeing finance, accounting, budgeting and reporting, preferably with a rural and community bank • Strong understanding and working knowledge of banking operations, IFRS and Bank of Ghana regulations and directives and tax regulations • Proactive, highly analytical and high professional and personal integrity. • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel • A working knowledge in a Core Banking software, preferably T24 Banking application
