Responsibilities


Come up with construction costs, estimates, labour and material schedule from working drawings.
Support the day-to-day running of the sites.
Assist in reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Support the QS/Cost Manager in handling and coordinating procurement activities on site e.g. purchase of materials, updating prices/rates for materials... and labour, preparing contracts, etc.
Vet payment schedule and then send to the QS/CM for final vetting.
Ensures that all waste and theft on sites are consciously avoided by putting in place concerete measures aimed at covering all loopholes noticed.
Ensures “savings” are gotten from BOQs/budgets, especially from purchase of materials and labour rates.
Assist in the monitoring and supervision of activities of the storekeepers and site securities.
Reports/receives directives from the QS/CM.


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar fields
1 - 3 years of experience in similar job role
Knowledge of construction estimating/finance experience is an added advantage.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Must have an idea of the real estate/construction industry
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Great networking abilities.
Must be punctual at all times.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or similar fields.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a facility manager or relevant position.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Well-versed in basic technical operations and facilities management best practices.
