Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -


Manage market cleaning shifts;
Manage refuse recycling schedules between the Government and the local communities
Manage public toilets in the markets;
Manage all waste disposal within their... areas;
Dumpsite management;
Manage exhausting of premises off- liquid waste;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.


Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -


Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D- (minus) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Certificate in computer application skills;

Duties and Responsibilities


Designing and developing secure, scalable and database-driven mobile and web applications;
Implementing innovative features and user-friendly interfaces aligned with project requirements;
Conducting software testing, maintenance, debugging, and comprehensive documentations;
Regularly updating and upgrading existing applications to incorporate new features... and meet changing user or business needs;
Conducting user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective application use;
Developing and implementing robust security measures to protect applications and data from vulnerabilities;
Designing, administering, and optimizing relational and non-relational databases for efficient data storage and retrieval;

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade a candidates must have;


Minimum Bachelor's degree (2 class honors) in Computer Science or Information Technology;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C+ (plus), with at least a C- in Mathematics and English/Kiswahili or its approved equivalent;
Minimum of one-year hands-on experience in coding and software application development in a government institution;
Professional certification in relevant areas, (mobile web specialization, GIT, DOCKER, GIT HUB) will be considered as an added advantage;
Membership of a relevant professional body.


Required Competencies:


Proficient in both front-end and back-end software development technologies.
Experience with DevOps tools and containerization technologies like Docker.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments.
Proficient in Unix and Linux based cloud architecture.
Experience and expertise in No-SQL and Relational database administration and security.
Familiarity with version control environments, with a preference for experience with GIT
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. more

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -


Representing and appearing for the County Government, Departments or SAGAS in Court of law ,tribunal and other administrative review boards.
Advising on all matters regarding the law; including the interpretation, impact and effect of the relevant laws and general conditions affecting various areas of the County Government’s... operations;
Assisting in the co-ordination of legal due diligence, documentation and closing of transactions;
Preparing and reviewing of legal drafts and negotiate commercial transactions leases, formal agreements and other legal instruments between the County and other parties,
Conducting legal research and analysis, preparing legal opinions, advice and recommendations on all legal matters affecting the County Government and attend to all legal correspondence appropriately;
Participating in settlement and arbitration of disputes and manage the County's litigation cases in liaison with external lawyers and offering legal advice and recommendations on legal matters;
Ensuring that the Government complies with all applicable legal and statutory obligations by monitoring changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and advising appropriately; and

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:


Proven work experience of three (3) years within which he/she has appeared before superior courts as an Advocate of High Court of Kenya.
Bachelors of Laws (LL. B) degree from a recognized university in Kenya:
Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;
Possession of 3 Practicing certificates from the date of admission as an Advocate;
Bean Advocate of High Court of Kenya;
Possession of a current Practicing Certificate as an Advocate;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya more

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -


Design of Electrical services in government buildings and construction works;
Repair and maintenance of Electrical installations in floodlights, streetlights, offices, workshops conference complexes and other government facilities.
Undertaking projects;
Preparation of specifications for new equipment; and
Processing of tenders... for Electrical installation work.

Be a Kenyan Citizen;
‘A Bachelor’s: Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; .
Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer;
Member of Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) - Graduate Engineer;
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in Engineering (Electrical (BS)) in the public or private institution will be an added advantage;
A project and Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;

Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:


Information gathering on topical issues and verifying its authenticity;
Editing and dispatching the information for dissemination to the public and media.
Assist in drafting press releases, news articles, newsletters, and other’ communication... materials;
Create engaging and informative content for the county's website and social media platforms;
Music/video production;
Cultivate and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets;
Assist in responding to media inquiries and coordinating interviews with county officials;
Monitor and update the county's social media accounts with relevant and timely content;
Engage with online budisitces and respond to comments and messages;
Assist in planning and promoting county events, meetings, and public hearings;
Coordinate with event organizers to ensure proper communication;
Facilitate internal gommunication- within county government departments by sharing important updates, announcements, and policies;
Assist in preparing communication strategies and materials for crisis situations;

Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain;
Holder of a Diploma in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Mass Communication,
International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Be proficient in computer applications;
Strong written and verbal communieation skills;
Proficiency in digital communication tools, including social mean platforms.
Basic graphic design and multimedia skills will be an added advantage;

Initiating, preparing and monitoring the implementation of County and local physical and Land Use development plans;
Providing advice on development applications and development control matters;
Implementing and providing feedback on physical and land use planning guidelines and standards;
Managing physical and land use planning data;

Bachelor's degree in arty of the following disciplines: - Land Surveying and Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geomatic Engineering, Technology in Geomatics, Technology in Geo- informatics, Geo-spatial Engineering, Philosophy in Technology (Survey), from a recognized institution; 
Membership of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK);
Certificate in computer applications; and
High degree of professional competence and administrative capability. more
