SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities of the Membership and Training Manager:


Team Leadership: Supervising and developing staff working under membership, training and examination;
Member Welfare: Oversee member welfare activities in coordination with the relevant ISK Committee including stewarding membership satisfaction surveys;
Training Program Development: In conjunction... with the Education and Research Committee, ensure timely development of the ISK Annual training and examination calendar including management of the training and examinations in accordance with the relevant ISK regulations;
Marketing: Oversee marketing of the institution’s training programs to external stakeholders with a view of raising revenue;
Resource Mobilization: Map development partners and write proposals for resource mobilization in areas that would foster membership, training and examination services;
Chapter and Branch operations: Work with Chapter and Branch Chairs to coordinate programmes and outreach operations;
Subscriptions: Ensuring all members subscriptions and training and examination charges and fees are paid by all those sitting for the seminars and examination;
Membership Management:

Develop and implement membership recruitment and retention strategies.
Maintain an up-to-date membership database and ensure accuracy of records.
Handle member inquiries, applications, renewals, and complaints.
Analyze membership trends and provide monthly and annual reports.
Coordinate communication with members, including newsletters and event invitation
Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget


Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and international membership training policies and recommend updates where necessary;
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with academic institutions, professional bodies, regulators, and other partners to align on training and membership development needs;
Reports: Providing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on Membership, Training and Examination activities.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications


A Degree in Land Surveying (Geospatial), Real Estate, Land Administration Management, Social Sciences or related field from a recognized University;
A Master’s Degree from a recognized University is desirable.
At least 7 years’ experience in coordinating member welfare, training and examinations in a member-based organization or similar organizations is desirable


Key competencies, temperaments, and skills


IT proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, Access, Power-point, e-learning, and e-mail;
Knowledge and/or experience in marketing, negotiation, and debt collection
Knowledge of data analytics will be an added advantage.
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience in Business plans development
Multitasking skills and able to withstand high pressure work.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


Providing technical support and assisting staff with troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation of computer systems.
Resolving network issues such as connectivity issues within the Institution’s network, configuring and maintaining network devices (e.g., routers, switches, and access points), to ensure efficient data flow and minimal... disruption to operations.
Performing preventive maintenance tasks on computers, printers, and other IT equipment to ensure their proper functioning;
Installation and updating of software applications.
Performing regular backups of critical data and ensuring that data recovery processes are in place in case of a system failure.
Maintaining and updating the ISK website and managing the Institution’s social media platforms.
Support the implementation of new IT systems or upgrades by helping to research and test new technologies or services.
Assisting in developing and maintaining internal software applications by writing, testing, and deploying code to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in implementing basic cybersecurity measures, including ensuring that antivirus software is running, firewalls are configured correctly, and sensitive data is properly protected.
Maintaining a log of all IT hardware and software used within the Institution, including licenses and warranties.
Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS


A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields from a recognized Institution;
Knowledge of major operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Familiarity with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace), software development tools, and general software installation.
Knowledge in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is an added advantage.
At least one (1) year experience in a similar position.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare, analyze and monitor financial reports, budgets, and monthly cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure that proper financial procedures/systems are operated and maintained in compliance with relevant institutional policy and accounting standards.
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivables, payroll,... and general ledger functions.
Ensure timely and accurate examination of all vouchers for approval and further ensure that all payments processed are within approved work plan & budget
Prepare and maintain an inventory of the institution assets for accounting and insurance purposes;
Direct and oversee all aspects of administrative support for the Institution including but not limited to office management and logistics.
Oversee the procurement for the Institution; and
Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration or a related field from a recognized University.
Professional Certifications such as CPA(K) or its equivalent from a recognised institution;
Five years’ experience in handling finance and administration preferably in a membership based organization or Non Profit Making Organization;
Membership of a Professional Body; and
Demonstrated experience in resource mobilization.
