Regen Organics is looking for a Process Design Fellow/Intern who will work under a Process Engineer and will be responsible for applying engineering principles and techniques to optimize the production processes in the manufacturing environment to meet organisational objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities

Perform hydraulic calculations to determine line sizes, pump... specifications, and control valve sizing.
Perform heat transfer calculations to determine heat exchanger duty requirements and sizing.
Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for different processing units, including details such as line sizes, control valves, isolation valves, and control logic.
Participate in and lead a P & ID review session.
Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
Create close-out reports for P&ID review sessions and HAZOP sessions.
Contribute to reviews of vendor documentation and other discipline documents.
Develop linelists and set hydrotest boundary limits.
Create operating guidelines and start-up/commissioning procedures.
Interact with other disciplines and vendors to ensure design accuracy.
Lead Equipment installation, commissioning, operator training, and handover.
Audit site operations to ensure equipment work instructions have been fully adopted. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
Good understanding of chemical engineering concepts specifically fluid dynamics and heat transfer models
Experience developing or contributing to control philosophies and operating guidelines
Experience developing or contributing to the sizing of processing equipment such as pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and control valves

Regen Organics is looking for an Assistant Regional Sales Manager-East to lead the sales team covering the Eastern regions in Kenya to sell organic agri-inputs and insect-based animal protein to achieve the required revenue and margins. Specifically, drive sales of Evergrow Organic Fertilizer and KuzaPro insect-based animal protein.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop the sales... plan across all sub - territories in your region as assigned by the manager.
Work with the territory reps to ensure that the plan is executed on time.
Participate in sessions to analyze sales activities to identify areas where we are falling short of targets. 
Develop and test out hypotheses to improve performance. Work as assigned to implement winning solutions.
Measure the performance of territory reps’ performance and your own criteria against the criteria provided by the manager.
Participate in the analysis of sales activities to identify areas where we are falling short of targets.
Own activities in the sales pipeline as assigned by the manager to grow the key accounts and Reseller sales for Evergrow, KuzaPro, and any other end product in your region.

Qualifications

Degree or higher level education in an Agricultural related course 
Previous experience in significantly scaling up agri-input sales
>2 years’ experience in consultative B2B selling 
>2 years experience in building and managing sales teams, preferably in direct sales with a clear track record of high performance 
Aptitude for numbers and data-driven decision-making 
Knowledge of agricultural inputs market for small and medium-scale farmers preferred or ability to learn technical knowledge quickly 
Coachable – a desire to learn, constantly improve, and act on feedback 
Willingness to work outside of Nairobi and travel to support the sales team approx. 80% of the time.

The Talent Partner will provide technical support on Talent related matters to assigned teams and business leaders in Regen. You will support teams in Kinanie, Kilifi, & Nairobi.
Duties and Responsibilities

Propose and co-lead team structure changes with respective managers, based on a deep understanding of organizational priorities, team objectives, team, and individual... performance, and individual roles. Implement any changes to the team structure by ensuring JDs, and letters are issued and conversations between managers and team members occur.
Support managers through the succession planning process.
Respond to requests from managers on staffing needs and work in collaboration with the recruitment team to ensure a successful hiring process.
Ensure Performance Management is done as planned and flag issues in both the tool and the process (by sitting in on reviews). Make a plan with managers to resolve issues and track Performance Improvement Plan implementation. 
Respond to requests from managers on what L&D needs their team has, and coordinate and monitor activities. Ensure learning & development needs identified following performance reviews are implemented.
Meet with every team member quarterly to understand motivation and any potential issues. Share learning from meetings, as trends, with the respective managers. Give feedback on org-wide events in terms of meeting their teams' needs. 
Support the implementation of identified employee engagement initiatives to ensure that teams remain engaged and motivated.
Ensure all team members are receiving and understanding communications to teams e.g Following up with managers to ensure they shared full-team announcements with their teams.
Ensure all documentation is in place for all team members to be paid, including overtime, holiday pay etc. Champion payroll corrections for team members. Explain our compensation philosophy to team members as needed. 
Ensure all team members are aware of benefits, including their responsibility vs company responsibility. Champion resolution of issues with benefits on behalf of team members. Give feedback to the Lead Talent Partner and Administration Manager on existing and potential benefits. 
Respond to requests from the Administration team to complete employee files. Ensure all team members have a valid contract at all times, and respective letters for changes to JD, acting roles, etc are all in place. 
Review the code of conduct, and other relevant policies, annually with all team members. Escalate potential disciplinary issues immediately to the Lead Talent Partner, and create a plan for investigation and resolution. Respond to manager requests to help resolve conflicts. 
Lead an HR functional area as assigned to ensure smooth delivery of the set expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
At least 3 years’ experience in a busy environment
Be an excellent team player/collaborator with excellent communication skills
Have demonstrated the ability to act decisively and resolve problems

Nairobi with 60% travel to support teams in Kilifi , Kinanie, and possibly Kisumu
