What you will do:

Watch all submitted films
Deliberate the films with the programming team make your case for or against the film for the festival
Collaboratively short list the films for each festival
IT IS KEY: You Reach out to filmmakers in Kenya circle to share their projects and widening your network of filmmakers and grow your knowledge of films being... made.

Qualifications:

Knowledge in film selection processes and audience building.
Ability to identify films that will be favourable and appropriate to our audiences based on their demographic and location, while creating a balance to keep them engaged and start conversations.
A team player who works well remotely under minimal supervision.
Ability to join meetings and discussions virtually and regularly.
Access to fast, reliable internet.
Access to tools that will enable you to view and watch the submitted films and store them securely, and confidentially more

Qualifications we seek are:

Identifying the best way to illustrate and communicate our vision.
Ability to select colours, shapes, and images, for all communication materials, such as our website, social media platforms e.t.c.
Developing graphic overlays for social media posts and posters.
Illustrating design drafts based on briefs provided. Submit them for approval and amend designs based on... feedback.
Collaborating with the rest of the team throughout the creative process to achieve the desired outcome.
Designing concepts and artwork for different projects that speak to project themes and brand identity
Maintaining knowledge of current visual trends, colour theory and technology relevant to web and graphic design
Owning or having constant access to graphic design software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Affinity photo.
Collaborating with the rest of the communications team and be willing to develop the brand identity
Providing ongoing/ad hoc creative support in creating and adjusting assets for ongoing campaigns
Able to join meetings virtually and regularly
