Job Summary


To support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences aligned with the British Curriculum, ensuring the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils in Key Stage 2.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities under the direction of the class... teacher.
Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs, both in and outside of the classroom.
Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s positive behavior policy.
Support with assessment and record-keeping, including observations and reporting on pupil progress.
Prepare learning materials and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
Supervise pupils during break, lunch, or other non-teaching times as required.
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture that reflects the values of Broad Oaks British School.
Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare and safety of all children.


Person Specification


A degree in Education or its equivalent is required.
Prior experience supporting teaching in a British Curriculum or international school setting is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Passionate about working with children and committed to their development and well-being.

JOB PURPOSE


To assist in the delivery of a high quality after-school programme, providing a safe, engaging and fun environment for pupils, while supporting the Team Lead and other staff members.


OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE


The After school Programme Assistant will support the planning, supervision and delivery of activities, homework help and care for pupils attending the After school... programme.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Assist in planning and delivering activities, games and crafts
Support pupils with homework and reading tasks
Supervise pupils during activities, snacks and outdoor play
Ensure student safety and supervision.
Assist with behaviour management and conflict resolution
Maintain accurate records and reports
Support the Team Lead with administrative tasks and programme preparation
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive programme.
Encourage positive behaviour
Prepare and maintain activity resources

Experience working with children in a school or after-school setting

As an Admissions Officer, you will be the first point of contact for prospective families, managing the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for new students while supporting administrative and event-related duties.


Key Responsibilities


Manage the admissions process, responding to inquiries and guiding families... through enrollment.
Conduct school tours, coordinate entrance assessments, and handle student placement.
Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports on admissions data.
Act as a liaison between parents, students, and the school administration.
Support and manage key school events, including student orientation and graduation ceremonies.


What We’re Looking For


A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within an educational institution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with school management software (SIMS) is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
