Job Description



We are seeking a sales representative to serve as a field sales professional, tasked with promoting and selling coffee seedlings and other nursery products to retailers, wholesalers, County Governments, and farmers within the coffee and horticultural sectors.

The principal responsibilities of this position include:


Identifying and pursuing... new business opportunities to expand the customer base and enhance sales. 
Establishing and nurturing good relationships with existing customers, delivering exemplary  customer service, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Demonstrating and educating customers regarding the features, benefits, and quality of coffee plants and related nursery products.
Conducting training sessions focused on product knowledge for customers, including guidance on product care, handling, and best practices to ensure successful adoption and long term results.
Developing and maintaining sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation to monitor salesprogress, assess customer activity, and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborating with the marketing department to develop and implement successful sales  promotions, trade shows, and other initiatives to drive business growth and revenue. 
Work and collaborate with County Government agricultural officials with a view to identify business opportunities and training for farmers within the 33 coffee growing counties across the country.


Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to sustain competitiveness in the market and provide insightful recommendations to management.

Qualifications:


Degree holder. Candidates with qualifications, specializations and experience in agriculture or related field will have a definite advantage. Experience in coffee farming is a plus.
Proven experience in sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Manage budgets allocated to digital marketing campaign's, ensuring cost effectiveness and ROI.


Who You Are

Has practical experience running digital marketing campaigns from start to finish.
Has a solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
Is comfortable using various tools (e.g. analytics, SEO, email marketing, paid advertising tools and more) to support marketing.
Knows how to write content that connects with real people.
Has a good eye for visuals - whether it’s designing a simple graphic or choosing the right image.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. 
Learns fast and keeps up with industry trends without being overwhelmed by them.
Can communicate clearly and collaborate well with a team.
Self-directed and works well without needing daily check-ins.


Qualifications & Education


2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role.
Strong portfolio of digital campaigns, content, or analytics reports.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

Manage and provide leadership to the operations team.
Ensure the company’s operational procedures, policies, and standards are followed.
Develop and implement... operational strategies and action plans to achieve the company’s goals.
Monitor and analyze operational data and reports to identify areas of improvement.
Identify and manage operational risks and develop contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to operations.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, vendors, customers, central and county governments.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field. Knowledge in Business Administration or related field will be a distinct advantage.
Previous experience in a senior operations management role.
Proven track record of delivering results and driving operational excellence.
