Responsibilities


Lead the development of our full bakery line - from sourdoughs to sandwich loaves, baguettes to brioches, and sweet and savoury pastries
Set up the bakery with the right equipment and layout for quality and efficiency
Build and train a small but mighty team of bakers
Develop recipes and processes that are easy to follow and consistently excellent
Work closely with our procurement and packaging teams to source the best ingredients and pack products beautifully
Plan production schedules to match demand and reduce waste
Cost recipes and ensure good margins without compromising on quality
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety


What we are looking for:


Deep hands-on baking experience, in sourdough and yeasted breads
Strong pastry skills and a love for laminated doughs, tarts, etc.
Proven experience running or helping run a bakery operation
A practical understanding of equipment, costing, production planning, and packaging
Ability to lead and train others - this is a working lead role, not just a manager’s desk

As Creative Lead, you’ll be the guardian of our brand identity. You will own the look, feel, and voice of Greenspoon across digital, print, video, packaging, and everything in between. You will concept, design, edit, direct, brief and produce, often all in a day. You will work closely with product, operations, marketing, and leadership to bring ideas to life, while making sure the systems behind them are... strong.

What you will be doing


Lead development of new features, internal tools for front-end, back-end and logistics
Improve performance, stability, and scalability of existing systems
Design and implement integrations with our systems (mainly WooCommerce, ElasticSearch, Microsoft Dynamics)
Translate business and user needs into clean and snappy code
Own projects from concept to deployment including timelines, priorities, and testing

What we are looking for


At least 5 years of experience in full stack development preferably in an eCommerce or logistics context
