This role is responsible for the efficient and effective control of Soya production processes, ensuring that manufacturing processes run reliably, products are delivered on time and within budget, goods are produced safely, and cost-effectively, and meet the required quality standards.


Responsibilities


Oversee all parameter readings, dip, and keep records.
Process... control and flow or pumping of hexane into the extractor.
Ensure that the hexane introduced into the extractor is at the proper temperature.
Maintaining zero incidents of low feeding from preparatory to prevent low production target achievement. 
Maintain maximum oil recovery from soya meal to 0.5% residual oil to meal.
Operate the solvent extraction plant properly and purge it of vapors when necessary.
Record indicator reading test results.
Assist in the routine maintenance of all SEP equipment.
Check production output according to specifications and submit reports on performance and progress.
Regularly inspect the feed hopper to ensure the free flow of the cake on the bed.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements in the assigned work process.
Enforce housekeeping and strict safety guidelines.

The Person


B.Sc. or equivalent. Additional technical education or certification in chemical processing, food technology, or related fields is preferred. 
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating refining equipment in the food processing industry, specifically in vegetable oil processing.
Strong understanding of vegetable oil processing, equipment operation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with GMP, PLC systems, and automated controls is advantageous.
Knowledge of safety protocols, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
