We are looking for an Account Specialist to join the Bolt Food team in order to build and grow strong partnerships.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for building lasting relationships with our partners and driving performance improvements across Bolt Food in Kenya.

Your daily adventures will include:

Manage and expand relationships with existing small and medium... providers and proactively identify further new business opportunities while ensuring strong operational KPIs.
Ensure that all campaigns processes are in place at a city level and proactively improve overall monthly campaign performance.
Observe market specific behaviour to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and growth.
Creating account plans to grow volumes from existing clients.
Replying to client queries and solving their challenges.
Be both data-sensitive and sales-minded in order to prepare monthly reports from our accounts.
Work with both Partners Operations and Sales Managers to ensure that every important provider that goes online in the platform meets our quality standards.
Renegotiate the contract's conditions such as commission rates and campaign plans with restaurants on a monthly basis.
Work with cross functional departments to drive business growth (Campaigns, Restaurant Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Courier).

About you:

2+ years of experience, preferably in Account Management, Consulting, or similar roles
Solid analytical skills: ability to interpret and present data to generate insights and support decision-making
Proven track record of client success and consistently achieving critical metrics and revenue targets
Ability to build and maintain long term professional relationships with business partners using listening, negotiation and persuasion skills
Ownership: ability proactively find solutions to business problems
Passion: drive to work with new technologies or with food tech
Excellent communicator: ability to effectively communicate with many stakeholders involved
Outstanding project manager: capable managing multiple projects, resources, priorities and time
Language requirements: English and Swahili

About The Role



As a PR Manager for Africa you will be responsible for managing Bolt’s PR activities across Africa. This includes creating and delivering strategic communication plans for different markets and managing local press officers and external PR agencies locally in all our African markets.



Currently, Bolt is operating in 6 countries in Africa – South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania,... Nigeria, Ghana and Tunisia – with potential for growth to further markets in the future.



Your daily adventures will include:

Managing in-house people and external PR agencies in African markets.
Advising all our stakeholders in Africa in PR-related matters.
Making sure our spokespeople in all markets are prepared to represent Bolt.
Being prepared for and handling crises in African markets.
Creating strategic PR plans for African markets in cooperation with local stakeholders to ensure a constant positive newsflow about Bolt across Africa.
Delivering and reporting PR results for African markets.
Other miscellaneous tasks, including supporting our brand campaigns, employer branding-related activities and partner relationships when needed.

About you:

At least 7 years of relevant experience in PR
Good understanding of which PR activities work in different countries. Experience in managing PR across different African regions is a plus.
Experience in delivering strategic PR plans and working with the media.
Experience in managing people.
Strong written and spoken communication, including great copywriting skills.
Good project management and reporting skills.
Capability to collaborate with many different stakeholders, experience in an international environment is a plus.
