  • Collect, Verify and submit required information for data calls, reports, and trackers on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis in time relating to weekly surveillance (033b), HMIS 105a, HMIS 106a, HMIS 108, weekly surge, TB info, weekly Non Communicable Diseases report, PEPFAR HIBRID monthly and Quarterly reports, ART clients Audit Tools while maintaining both the hardcopy and electronic data files/ reports safely in compliance with the program regulations.
  • Ensure complete client data is collected to minimize inaccuracies for quality report generation.
  • Manage more efficient filing systems and Client database protocols and maintain the highest standards of data quality by comparing the data entered with source documents (validation) or re-enters verified data.
  • Analyzes the audit tools and create the clients’ service tracking tool that highlights which services are eligible for each client in order to achieve the targets of clients receiving all the required services. This is a guide for community outreaches because it summarizes the gaps that needs attention.
  • Together with facility CQI teams, routinely updates the facility QI journals to update the Audit tools (HEI, CALHIV, PMTCT, Adult, and Non – Suppressed).
  • Conduct data quality checks in the field reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data before submitted to the Ministry of Health through the DHIS2 and HMIS systems.
  • Strengthen traceability and quality service delivery to all clients through timely feedback, i.e. generate line lists for clients who are due for various services and share with counselors, peers and or clinicians.
  • Compile, organize and disseminate facts, data and information on various program progresses during Performance review and CQI meetings, briefings and reporting periods.
  • Support and train interns, and other facility staff in different departments complete data documentation practices and the use of data collection tools and electronic Uganda EMR, PIRS, HIBRID, DHIS2, CQI database, TB tracker among others whilst ensuring accuracy of the reports entered in electronic systems from the hard copies.
  • Upload files and ensure timely data entry into the Electronic Medical records management systems in place including timely update of the Uganda National CQI dashboards.
  • Conduct and input correct information into surveys and trackers, e.g. the Kaizala Survey App, Uganda CQI database.
  • Assists health care workers at the Hospital in data quality assurances as clearly stipulated in the standard operating procedures and job aides.
  • Support the analysis and triangulation of qualitative and quantitative monitoring data in key program focus areas.
  • Liaise closely with relevant partners such as; OVC, Family Planning (RHU) to fully enrich the M&E functions to support the implementation and on-going development of monitoring, evaluation and learning processes and systems to collect output and outcome level data.
  • Ensure that all the electronic data systems and primary hard copies which include but not limited to Uganda EMR (POC), DHIS2, HIBRID, ECBSS, YAPS MIS, National CQI dashboards, ART registers are adequately managed and maintained by ensuring real time update with the most current data
