Dr Puig has made this a vocation and she puts her heart and soul teaching, sharing her knowledge.

My professor, Dr. Puig, provided comprehensive instruction in class and was very approachable for academic and personal discussion. While completing my MA in Teaching, she allowed me to draw upon my personal experiences in the field and life in order to better reinforce a teaching philosophy based around multiculturalism. This still fosters a positive development in my interpersonal relationships with students, parents, and colleagues in my career to this day. I am deeply grateful and highly recommend her!

The professor, Dr. Puig , was well organized in how she presented the materials to the class. The material was challenging and intense and was filled with meaningful class discussions. Each class was hands on and used collaboration and we had the opportunity to put the lectures into practice in our own classrooms. She promoted critical thinking and discourse. We also got to present in Montclair State University as her students. She was always very approachable and fair. Dr. Puig impacted my knowledge and education on linguistics and how I applied it to my multilingual students in my own classroom.
