Ryaziga is an Assistant Lecturer and researcher and a PhD Student in Linguistics at the University of Rwanda. His doctoral Thesis, entitled “Investigating the Impact of Codeswitching Practices by Rwanda’s Local Government Leaders on Community Mobilisation and Engagement: A Sociolinguistic Approach,” has been accepted. He holds a Master of Arts in English from Mahatma Gandhi University-India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Literature from the University of Rwanda. His research focuses on various aspects of Linguistics, Literature, and Translation Studies, with a particular focus on sociolinguistics, multilingual communication, and the translation of manuscripts between English, Kinyarwanda, French, and Kiswahili."
