Traliyah Rainey

"Traliyah is one who challenges herself and improves with each day. I have known her for two years and she is constantly striving to do and be more. I first taught her in honors chemistry where she excelled. She is currently exceeding expectations in my honors physics class. There is no organization that would not benefit from rewarding her with a scholarship.

Traliyah is meticulous and detail oriented. She will pick-up where her peers have left off and make the grade. She does not dawdle or procrastinate. She presents herself in person, in reports, and in all of her schoolwork as a professional. She is well aware of a bigger game and playing field than her high school.

Traliyah is active in our high school band. She has won awards in band and district honor band. She is Captain in flag-line. Traliyah is a Mercer CASE scholar and a Georgia Certificate of Merit winner.

One of Traliyah’s passions is dance. She has won numerous awards in dance; she has competed and also helped others by teaching dance. Additionally in the community, Traliyah has done volunteer work for seniors and worked with foster programs. She is truly an asset.

As a science instructor and the son of a surgeon I encourage her to pursue her interests in biochemical and biomedical science. Traliyah has a sound family foundation. Regardless of the program she applies to, any investment in her is a sound one. She will earn the respect and gratitude of those who invest in her.
