About

I serve as the executive leader, strategist, and primary advocate for Another Blessed Ministry, which is dedicated to transforming lives and uplifting the most vulnerable in the Richmond, VA community. My core responsibilities include: Organizational Leadership: Established, defined, and scaled ABM's mission, vision, and strategic direction to support at-risk youth, the homeless, and neglected animals. Strategic Fundraising & Development: Leads all fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and corporate partnership initiatives to secure resources for ABM's long-term facility acquisition and operations. Governance & Oversight: Manages the Board of Directors, ensuring financial health, ethical operations, and legal compliance. Community Advocacy: Serves as the primary public face, building crucial relationships with community leaders, government agencies, and other non-profits. Program Oversight: Directs community outreach, including essential resource distribution (food, clothing, etc.) for vulnerable neighbors. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR (Current Goals & Needs for ABM's Growth) My focus is on securing the infrastructure and strategic support needed to expand ABM's long-term impact in the community. Our current priorities are: Permanent Facility Acquisition: Securing a long-term facility that will serve as a central, dynamic sanctuary for community resource distribution, mentorship programs, and administrative operations. Corporate & Grant Partnerships: Establishing strategic, high-value partnerships (like with Dominion) and securing grants to gain financial backing, in-kind donations, and volunteer support to sustain and amplify our core services. Talent Recruitment: Recruiting skilled professionals (via the Fundraising Fellowship) to build capacity in critical areas like grant writing, social media management, and strategic donor relations. Financial Resources: Securing consistent funding to sustain our existing outreach programs and enable the purchase or long-term lease of our permanent facility.
