TJ Cooley

"TJ created some complicated visual effects for our recent production in a small 72-seat theatre. The lead female had to be injured twice in a very realistic manner — with a burned hand, and then murdered with her skull cracked open. TJ invented a transparent glove for the actress to wear which was painted to look like a burned hand. So realistic! And then he created a wig that opened to reveal a bloody brain underneath when the actress fell out of her chair. We couldn’t believe the level of detail and realism TJ was able to bring to these effects. Not only that, he was a pleasure to work with, coming out to the theatre repeatedly to keep the effects looking and working just right. He is a patient, talented, skilled visual effects artist who also works really well with actors to get the effects just right. Highly recommend!"
