"I worked with Tico for the Eric meets Buddy Rich project. Apart from being an amaible pianoplayer, Tico also finds his way on a North keyboard. During the concert he proved to be good in exciting battles with other musicians Hear out his duet in the BIMHUIS with GJ Binkhorst on Birdland (We received the scores two hours before the gig.) Also in his solo parts he amazed the audience with his tight and smooth appregio’s and licks. Since that memorable gig I wait every day for his call for another concert with him. Oh, he takes rehearsels extremely serious. He is well prepared and even does not bother to take a flight if he has to play abroad, to join a rehearsel.
