Taleka Nyasulu

Work experience
  • Served at this non-profit education charity responsible for development initiatives within the education sector, including a large emphasis on girls’ empowerment programs, tuition sponsorship (secondary and tertiary), technical and skills training for youth, and health & nutrition components. In this role, I was responsible for providing strategic oversight and direct supervision of program coordinators for the Girls and Women Empowerment Program, Tuition and Sponsorship Program, and Early Childhood Development Project. I collaborated with the Head Teacher of Wasambo Boys High School on key development projects, including the successful electrification of the school. I managed financial operations to ensure the smooth running of the organization, monitored budgets, and oversaw expenditures. I also led the preparation and presentation of organizational reports during monthly management meetings with the Board of Directors, and compiled the Annual Report submitted to donors and stakeholders. Additionally, I contributed to strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and donor engagement to support the growth and sustainability of our programs
