A Medical Doctor and Public Health Practitioner with over 12 years of professional experience in providing holistic health care in several multi-cultural contexts in the public and private health sectors of Uganda and previously war-torn South Sudan, East Africa. My goal is to contribute to the health and well-being of the global population through managing centres of excellence in provision of health care services, medical practice, research and advocacy in health as well as contributing to national and global health policy. My areas of knowledge and practice include general, emergency, reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health care, communicable as well as non-communicable diseases (NCDs), project planning and implementation, leadership and management in health, healthy nutritional therapy as well as weight management. I also have knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Concerning previous graduate studies, I successfully completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Edinburgh in 2022. My dissertation was about the determinants of consent by parents to Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among adolescents aged 9-14 years in Kampala, Uganda. I also possess knowledge and practice of COVID-19 and Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). I am interested in positions such as Medical Doctor, Medical Offer, Public Health Specialist, Public Health Consultant.
