  • verview: In response to the Uganda government’s Anti-Homosexuality Act of 2023, which criminalizes being gay, The Diamond Mine Academy has launched a micro-funding initiative to empower vulnerable and marginalized East African individuals.
  • As the Lead of this initiative, I will support efforts to provide financial independence through micro-funding, mentoring, and training, enabling those impacted by this inhumane act to develop the skills needed for success.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the micro-funding initiative.
  • Identify and engage with vulnerable individuals and communities in need of financial support.
  • Facilitate access to micro-grants and ensure funds are allocated effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and training to beneficiaries, helping them develop sustainable income streams.
