About

I am a Biomedical Data Scientist and PhD researcher in Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Innovation (AI4BI) at the University of Edinburgh, with a background in Mathematics and Bioinformatics. My work focuses on applying machine learning and statistical modelling to complex biological data, particularly metabolomics and time-series datasets, to extract meaningful biological insights. I have experience in: - Metabolomics and omics data analysis - Time-series modelling and circadian rhythm detection - Machine learning applications in biomedical research - Data processing, visualization, and pipeline development (Python, R) I am particularly interested in translating computational methods into real-world biomedical and health applications, bridging the gap between data and actionable insight. Beyond research, I care deeply about mentorship, teaching, and faith-informed leadership, which continue to shape how I think about science, service, and impact. I am open to: - Research collaborations - Industry internships - Consulting opportunities in bioinformatics, metabolomics, and AI-driven biomedical analysis Contact: https://snbinaansim.netlify.app
