"I can’t say enough about Sophia. As a fellow student in nursing school and then colleague at Scripps hospital, she has always impressed me. I was fortunate enough to work with her on many group projects in our fast-paced BSN program; she is highly intelligent and very organized, she always came through going above and beyond. What really impressed me is she has a command of the English language that surpasses many for whom it is not a second language. She also has a big heart. I still remember her becoming emotional during a class discussion where she felt deeply for the people who had to say “Goodbye” to loved ones through a screen during the pandemic. It was evidence of the type of caring person she is. She started nursing on a very high acuity level of care, but accepted the challenge seemingly unintimidated. Sophia will no doubt excel at whatever she sets her mind to and I am fortunate enough to know her as a friend and valued resource."
