Through a series of unexpected events, I was connected with a Lyft driver who shared that she and her children were living in their car and praying for better conditions. After she returned a lost phone for someone from our church, I asked if she would allow me to connect her with someone in social services.

I reached out to Sonya Young, and she immediately took action. Within the very next day, she was able to help secure housing and connect this young mother with the services she needed.

In my years of community and ministry work, it is rare to see help happen that quickly and compassionately. Sonya truly cares and works diligently to help families move from crisis to stability.
