"In my most recent job as a Peer mentor at residence, I gained experience in managing people with different personalities and from diverse backgrounds building relationships with them and most importantly hygiene, respect among others and prosperity in academics. The role required me to develop a relationship with my residence mates in supporting them in transitioning from high school environment to university residence environment , I was able to support them emotionally doing activities together like singing and playing some games on Saturdays after cleaning our corridors and supporting them academically for example, writing timetable and reminding them of their deadlines for submission which I was able to do it with great success ."
