"My name is Curtis Utpadel a retired Dodge county sheriffs dept employee who started in 1971 as Patrol Deputy. Shortly after starting Scott Rose joined the Sheriff’s dept and was working part time as a Dispatcher. Not too long after that Ernest Vanderhyde became Sheriff after Wilford Meitzner retired, Scott then continued to work for Sheriff’s dept and then worked road patrol from there investigation
then filed for Sheriff and was elected as Sheriff. He if am right in years I believe this is his fourth term as Sheriff. He is a people’s Sheriff who listens to the public and attempts to do what the people desire. He is also supported by the county Commissioners for his outstanding performance as Sheriff. He deserves to be re-elected as sheriff of dodge county."
