With over a decade of teaching experience, I have served in various educational institutions, such as Newcastle College Sixth Form, Sunderland College, Newcastle Royal Grammar School, St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, Herne Bay High School, East Kent College among others. My roles have included Mathematics Lecturer, GCSE Mathematics Programme Leader, Computer/ICT Teacher, STEM Educator and Secondary Mathematics Teacher. I have also worked as an Assistant Examiner for multiple examination boards, including Cambridge Assessment International Education and OCR.
Beyond classroom teaching, I am a content creator and educational consultant. I develop e-learning resources aimed at enhancing students' learning experiences in Mathematics and ICT. My publications are available on platforms such as TES, Amazon, and YouTube. I am also a member of professional organizations like the Nigeria Mathematical Society and the Scratcher MIT Education community.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes the use of innovative methods, including flipped learning, to foster a deeper understanding of subject matter among students. I am proficient in various technological tools and programming languages, such as Scratch Programming, SPSS, Python, MATLAB, and R, which I explore to exhibit the beauty concepts of Mathematics and applications in everyday life, integrating these into my teaching methodology to provide a comprehensive STEM education.
In addition to my teaching and content creation endeavours, I have authored a book titled "Electronic Banking Fraud Detection: Using Data Mining Techniques and R Software for Implementing Machine Learning Algorithms in Prevention of Fraud," which is available on Amazon, eBay, Lambert Publishing and other various online auction site.
