About

I don’t just work in art, I also work with what art does. I’m a curator, art educator, and cultural strategist exploring how art shapes thought, memory, and public life. My work lives between the studio, the gallery, and the wider world where ideas become conversations, and conversations become cultural shifts. Through teaching, curating, and writing, I’ve spent years building spaces for artists to be seen, heard, and taken seriously, not just as creators, but as thinkers shaping society. My roles with the Society of Nigerian Artists and Orisun Art Gallery allow me to do this at both institutional and ground levels. I’m drawn to questions of identity, perception, and cultural memory of how we see ourselves, and how art reframes those narratives. My current interests lean into neuroaesthetics, decolonial curation, and the future of African art in global discourse. Simple truth: Art is not decoration. It is infrastructure. And I’m here to build with it.
