About

I’m a trauma-informed chaplain, pastoral theologian, and organizational consultant with deep commitments to justice, healing, and spiritual integrity. My work bridges the worlds of clinical care, theological ethics, and social transformation. Whether I’m serving youth in placement, facilitating DEI training, or developing tools to assess and respond to religious trauma, my goal is always the same: to foster spaces where people can reclaim their stories, their agency, and their sense of the sacred. I hold a Doctor of Ministry with a research focus on religious trauma, and I’m the creator of the Shepley Religious Trauma Screening Tool. I also serve in pastoral leadership, develop spiritual assessment protocols for residential care, and consult with organizations on building trauma-responsive, equity-centered practices. My approach is shaped by a life lived at the intersections: I'm neurodivergent, multifaith, and deeply rooted in both clinical and congregational settings. I believe spiritual care can be an act of resistance and repair. I’m currently seeking a full-time church leadership role within the United Church of Christ, where I can offer trauma-informed pastoral care, inclusive preaching, and ethical leadership rooted in justice, healing, and spiritual depth. I’m especially drawn to congregations ready to engage in courageous conversations, deepen their community impact, and cultivate belonging across lines of difference. I also remain open to consulting opportunities, collaborative projects, and speaking engagements aligned with my work in religious trauma, DEI, and pastoral formation.
