Roman Orellana

"Great leader"

"During my time in the Infantry Roman Orellana, was hands down one of the best NCO’s I’ve ever had. He always stayed stayed positive and pushed through a lot of adversity in the field"

"Roman Orellana stands out as an Infantry Squad Leader. He leads by example, sets high standards, and always completes the mission. He truly cares about his Marines’ well-being. Roman is knowledgeable, professional, and skilled, and he can be trusted to get the job done without supervision.

For instance, during operations, he coordinated the squad’s movement through challenging terrain, ensuring every Marine was accounted for and safe while completing the objective. I worked with him briefly, but his squad was always on time, hardworking, and professional, which I believe reflects on their leader. Roman is strong-willed and confident, and people notice his presence right away. He always gives his best effort and takes pride in doing quality work. His leadership, reliability, initiative, and ability to handle pressure or tasks make him a great addition to any team.

Roman has a broad set of skills and experience, many of which are highly valuable in non-military settings. His strengths in team leadership, clear communication, problem-solving under pressure, and organizing and motivating groups can translate well to any workplace. I would gladly recommend him to any organization that needs a dependable, motivated, and capable leader. As a leader, I have grown by learning from Roman, taking notes from his leadership style and experience."
